the attraction to photography for me is the ability to use it as a tool to express what i feel when going through an experience of music. It’s about a profound relationship between what artists create and what my hearth craves. with this in mind, i love to create during countless of hours, days or months towards what i consider an ‘artwork’. here is a new work showing what i hear, feel and see when listening to a new track by VILAIN coming on the 15th of January. supported by images made at the infamous @monasteriomoscow in April 2025.

stepping into my 9th year of documenting (techno) music as a photographer. 2026 will be about trying to continue to inspire people around the world with my work. after many changes in the scene, i’m beyond proud to see my work keep having its place in today’s modern scene. re-imagined AV show in Moscow 🖼️ for years, i could not publicly express my love for one of the best dancefloor the current techno-scene has to offer. for months, i have been trying to re-imagin an AV show as a photographer: analog, pure, physical, 1-image-says-it-all, .. this was extremely challenging as the work of a photographer is not as dynamic as a videographer or an AI-artist. but my goal is and always will be ‘trying to reflect an experience i absolutely love on the place i absolutely love: the dancefloor.’ being asked numerously times to exhibit in backstages, chill-areas, .. i never felt ready and complete enough to reflect my desired experiences as good as possible. being asked by many artists to collaborate for an AV show with my work, never fully alligned with my vision as the photographer i have become today. Monasterio, thank u so so much to believe in me and my ideals. your vision made me discover my most favourite LIVE artist, Inquisitor. i could almost cry..

exactly 7yrs ago, i received my very first opportunity to show a new and artistic style and presentation outside of my home country Belgium. stop-motion animation continues to allow me to blend photography and music into a dynamic reflection of what heard, saw and felt during a night filled with Techno music. as a university graduated photographer, i felt the urge to take this project more closer to my hearth and create the ongoing black&white look with attention to detail and purity. This was (and still is) my way to document a world i admire. inspiring people and a scene on a global level at such a young age was very motivational and challenging but brought me to places around the world i could only have dreamt of in the very beginning. i dance through my work, awake but forever dreaming.

it’s 2019 and I was trying to set new horizons and standards in event documentation. Having the best time doing allnighters and prepared to travel back home for hours with public transport straight after the events, was how i started to forge a hard path for everyone I inspired and came after me. this artwork from 2019 was created in the morning at a warehouse somewhere in Paris. Together with my early love for the harder style, i chose this track of upcoming artist Nico Moreno to reflect my deep love for music. 5yrs later, i’m finally returning to a real warehouse event in France to create and translate that same old love for music and photography with a line-up that perfectly match a venue like this.
